Waldo Photos alternative: CéSAR Photo vs Waldo for event photos
Waldo Photos and CéSAR Photo both recognize guests' faces. Prices, languages, personal data: which to choose for a wedding or event?

Waldo Photos and CéSAR Photo do the same thing, finding your photos with face recognition, at similar event prices (Waldo Gold at $49.99 one-time with 50 GB for a year; CéSAR One at €49 with 20 GB for 12 months); CéSAR Photo stands out for its interface in French, English, Spanish and Hebrew (right-to-left), a recognition model it runs itself and a database hosted in the EU.

The differences in detail
In principle the two services are close: photos are imported, the guest takes a selfie, they find their shots. The difference is context. Waldo first targets a North American audience, with consumer subscriptions (Plus) and photographer plans (WaldoPro). CéSAR Photo is built for France and Israel: a complete interface in French and Hebrew with true right-to-left display, selfie deleted after the search, computation done by an open-source model run by CéSAR Photo and never handed to a third-party face recognition service.
When to choose Waldo Photos
Choose Waldo if your guests are mostly North American, if you like delivery by text or notification, or if you want an everyday photo-sharing app (Waldo Plus) on top of the event.
When to choose CéSAR Photo
Choose CéSAR Photo for a French-speaking, Hebrew-speaking or bilingual wedding or event, when data protection matters (GDPR, EU database, selfie deleted), or if you want a gallery in the event's colors with a printable QR code and seating chart.
